Open  Letter !
Mariupol, sorry,  Simpheropol, you've been buried,  Luhansk, hold on! Lviv, you're gonna be next...

Every week on Wednesdays Ukrainian football sites' forums and guestbooks are full of similar posts from all over Ukraine. It's supporters' reaction to news about appointments of referees and linesmen for matches to be played by their teams. Vitaliy Hodulian is one of such referees, whose appointings surely aren't desired by fans from 13 Ukrainian cities.
It was Hodulian, who (possibly with notable help of Kharkiv citizen, FFU vice-president Mr S. Storozhenko) displayed another “performance” while refereeing the Premier League game last Sunday (Metalist vs Karpaty). In fact the GAME itself was finished on 12-th minute after A. Tkachuk was sent off. The referee kept his eye on episode when lviv's no. 25 failed to jump over Edmar lying on a pitch, but some strange blindness didn't let him to catch sight of Valiayev's handblock of Khudobyak's shot in penalty area on 19-th minute or Horiainov's boxing hook on Khudobyak's face. All managers and coaches are claiming that they do not need such kind of "football" after matches like that one. Games similar to that in Kharkiv really kill Ukrainian football, leaving us no possibility to see any progress in future.
Regardless of defeat we are grateful to FC "Karpaty" players for struggling against Metalist, against referee 'till the last second of the match. You lost, but you kept our honor! It's OK to lost final shot on the last minute when there are 10 vs 12 on the pitch. But it’s scary when it occurs on regular basis.
The only way to fight it is to clean our football from such kind of "Hodulians" and those who are covering them. If we (the supporters, not the clubs totally passive in such cases) miss to take some serious steps today, tomorrow the referees will feel they are real “holy cows” of our football.
We demand the Pemier League, which declares fighting for fair play in Ukrainian football, to provide us with efficient methods of fighting corruption among referees. We call for the supporters of all Ukrainian clubs to join our demands and control the improving process.

P.S. We add the supporters' masterpieces which depict the situation during the Sunday match.
